The use of the word ‘season‘ in Scotland can conjure up a variety of different feelings. Quite often I feel that there are too many seasons in one day – switching from bright and cold, to cloudy, to windy, ending with a hint of snow! It also seems as though there are no seasons at all, just the same weather all year round with a very slight increase or decrease in temperature. Nothing more, nothing less.
However seasons in Scotland can be a lot of fun – you never quite know what you’re going to get! With this in mind, I’d like to share a few images taken in Scotland from the ‘winter season’ (in this case, November to February) from the past few years. These give a stunning example of why Scotland’s changing weather patterns should be worthy of note!
